After waiting 8 DAYS for a part that was supposed to be able to be shipped next day, turns out they misdiagnosed the vehicle, and I was STILL expected to pay for the work. Now I am out of a car which I just put more money into, and through the whole process never once did they admit any fault in misdiagnosis or even apologize. Awful costumer service. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve had with a mechanic in my life. Save your money and go somewhere else!
Rachel (Deme) we are very sorry to hear that you are out of a vehicle. We diagnosed your vehicle on 5/24/18 as having fuel injector failure (Diesel) You declined repairs. You got a 2nd opinion on your vehicle and still decided to return to us for repairs. We recommended you replace all 4 injectors, you opted for the worst 2. As is our procedure and responsibility, we went through all the diagnostic procedures and Chrysler specs on your vehicle and provided all the information and options to you. You were informed that 2 injectors would not fix this but, you wanted to gamble that it would make it to California with those. Ultimately the decision was left up to you on how you wanted to proceed. Vehicle was not misdiagnosed; the recommended services were not completed. This vehicle also had other internal issues that had yet to be addressed. The injectors did take slightly longer from the supplier than anticipated, unfortunately we had no control over that. Your vehicle was finished in 5 days with the repairs you requested, and you picked up on the 6th day as we do not operate on Saturday or Sunday. We stand behind our technicians who performed repairs, and we are also able to stand behind our work with our NAPA Peace Of Mind 24 month/24,000-mile warranty on all repairs that were performed at Brookside Auto Rx and this is available nationwide. We truly hope you made it to California safely. https://www.knowyourparts.com/technical-resources/diesel-engines/diesel-injector-diagnosis/
